Most councils decide spending by motion at a business meeting. So start the free trial first: set the site up with your council's name and next events, then show it at the meeting. Officer Center prints a one-page handout with the motion to read and a QR code that opens your own site on anyone's phone. If the council says no, cancel before day 30 and nothing is charged.

What it does not cover.
- A custom domain of your own. Your site answers at your-council.knightlysites.com. Pointing your council's own domain at it is not set up for you today.
- Moving your old site's content across. Bringing years of news and photographs off a rented vendor site is real work, so it is not in the subscription — it is a separate, one-off job we quote after looking at your site, from $299. Your roster you can import yourself from a spreadsheet, free.
- Video hosting. Video is embedded from YouTube or Vimeo. Nothing is uploaded to us and nothing is transcoded.
- Custom design work. Every council chooses one of seven finished themes — Classic, Evening, Chapel, Patriotic, Showroom, Circuit or Hearth — and adds its own name and photographs. We do not design one-off themes.
- Taking card payments for your council. The dues book and email notices are included; paying dues by card, and Market Center, are not turned on for new units yet. This subscription is what you pay us.
cancelling
If you stop.
An admin cancels from the council's own billing page. There is nobody to telephone and no notice period.
At the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not pro-rate a part month back, and we do not bill again.
Cancel before day 30 and nothing is charged. The site goes offline when the trial ends; its records are kept 30 days in case the council changes its mind, then deleted.
Kept for 3 months after the subscription ends, so a council that cancels in a leadership change has not lost its minutes. Cancelling deletes nothing on its own.
Handled by Stripe. We never see or store a card number — the payment page you type it into is theirs, not ours.
