What we look at

A secure address. Without https, browsers label the site “Not secure”.
Made for phones. Whether the layout is built for a phone, or a desktop page shrunk to fit. Most visitors arrive on a phone, often right after Mass.
Speed and size. How long the page takes, and how much it asks a weak signal to carry.
Recently updated. An old date on the front page reads as a quiet council.
When you meet. The first thing a man thinking of joining looks for.
A title and description. What search results show for your council.
